Echinacea is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants in the daisy family. It has ten species, which are commonly called coneflowers. They are found only in eastern and central North America, where they grow in moist to dry prairies and open wooded areas.

The flowers provide a source of nectar and pollen, which helps to support the health and diversity of these important pollinators. The seeds of purple coneflower are a valuable source of food for many species of birds, including goldfinches, sparrows, and chickadees.
Purple Coneflower Echinacea Seeds Organic Naturally Grown
Coneflower seeds can be planted in the springtime and should be sown in weed-free soil at a depth of ¼ of an inch. Place container in full sun. This plant does not compete well with other plants, so be sure to keep the soil clear of weeds. Seedlings should be carefully watered.
