Peach Fatalii peppers are a variety of the Capsicum chinense pepper, which also includes habaneros and other hot chili peppers. They are known for their sweet and fruity flavor, and can range in heat level from medium to very hot.
The Fatalii is a cultivar of the chilli pepper Capsicum chinense developed in southern or central Africa from chilies introduced from the Americas. It is described as having a fruity, citrus flavor with a searing heat comparable to the habanero, to which it is related and from which it may have derived. The Peach Fatalii pepper, also known as the Peach Wasp chili, has a Scoville rating of 300,000–450,000. This rating puts it in the middle ground for those who like a fiery kick without going into superhot territory.
