UNIQUE CREEK HOMESTEAD SEEDS: All of our seeds are grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead and not sourced from elsewhere. All seeds are collected each growing season and are 1-year old or less, stored in air-tight Mason jars. Seeds are harvested and labeled for storage each season, one plant/seed type at a time so seeds do not get mixed by accident during the process! The seeds we use at the start of each growing season come from the exact same seeds we sell.

ABOUT THESE SEEDS: Tondo Round peppers are a variety of Calabrian pepper that are round and cherry-sized, with a similar flavor and heat to Calabrian Cherry peppers.
Here is some more information about Tondo Round peppers:
Flavor: Tondo Round peppers have a great flavor and a moderate to hot level of spice. They have a unique fruity, smoky flavor. Scoville units:
Tondo Round peppers average 20,000 Scoville units.
Growing: Tondo Round peppers grow on compact bushy plants that usually reach a height of only 2 feet (60 centimeters) when fully grown.
Sowing: To grow Tondo Round peppers, you can surface-sow or barely cover the seeds indoors, and keep moist and warm above 20C.
Harvesting: Tondo Round peppers ripen on compact bushy plants.
Uses: Tondo Round peppers can be used in recipes or steeped in oil or vinegar to make condiments.
 
Sow seeds in flats or pots 8 to 10 weeks prior to the expected outdoor planting date. Sow them shallowly, around 1/4 inch deep. Hot peppers, and especially super-hot peppers, have a well-earned reputation for being finicky to germinate, but you can increase germination rates by providing bottom heat (highly suggested).
