UNIQUE CREEK HOMESTEAD SEEDS: All of our seeds are grown right here on our Unique Creek Homestead and not sourced from elsewhere. All seeds are collected each growing season and are 1-year old or less, stored in air-tight Mason jars. Seeds are harvested and labeled for storage each season, one plant/seed type at a time so seeds do not get mixed by accident during the process! The seeds we use at the start of each growing season come from the exact same seeds we sell.

ABOUT THESE SEEDS: The Bahamian Goat pepper is a chili pepper that's native to the Bahamas and is known for its striking appearance, high yield, and fruity flavor: Appearance: The Bahamian Goat pepper has a unique shape that resembles a mini pumpkin or a Scotch Bonnet pepper. The pods are round, slightly crushed, and deeply ribbed, and ripen from dark green to a light peachy orange color.
Heat level: The Bahamian Goat pepper has a heat level that ranges from 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which is similar to a Habanero pepper.
Flavor: The Bahamian Goat pepper has a sweet, fruity flavor that's similar to a Habanero pepper.
Uses: The Bahamian Goat pepper is a popular ingredient in tropical hot sauces and Caribbean cuisine. It can also be used to make a powder. 
Plant: The Bahamian Goat pepper plant can grow up to 4 ft tall and is high yielding.

Sow seeds in flats or pots 8 to 10 weeks prior to the expected outdoor planting date. Sow them shallowly, around 1/4 inch deep. Hot peppers, and especially super-hot peppers, have a well-earned reputation for being finicky to germinate, but you can increase germination rates by providing bottom heat (highly suggested).
